Solidarity Visit with Maoua Diomande at the Église Sacre-Coeur in Ottawa

Maoua Diomande, originally from the Cote d’Ivoire, has been in sanctuary inside the Eglise-Sacre-Coeur on the University of Ottawa campus since July 2005. She defied her deportation order, refusing to return to the persecution she suffered in her native country. A delegation of Solidarity Across Borders’ members visited with Maoua and her supporters on February 4, 2006.
